Police Deploy 2,959 Joint Personnel To Secure Bhayangkara Anniversary At Monas Today
JAKARTA - The police deployed 2,959 joint personnel to secure the People's Party in the context of the 78th celebration of Bhayangkara Day which was held in the National Monument (Monas) area, Jakarta, Monday, July 1, 2024.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Police Susatyo Purnomo Condro said joint personnel consisting of Polda Metro Jaya, Central Jakarta Metro Police, TNI, DKI Regional Government and personnel-related agencies would later be placed at a number of points in the Monas area.
Personnel are deployed to provide security and prevent unwanted things. We urge visitors to keep the people's parties orderly and be aware of no crime, such as pickpockets and fraud," said Susatyo, Monday, July 1.
In addition, Susatyo reminded all personnel involved in security to always act persuasively, not carrying firearms, serving people who participate in enlivening Bhayangkara's 78th Anniversary properly and humanely.
"All free meals and drinks are provided by the committee. Those who bring children or toddlers should not be separated from their supervision. If you are tired and sick, immediately contact the medical officer to help," Susatyo appealed.
The people's party will be held from 14.00 WIB-22.00 WIB in the Monas field by presenting top Indonesian artists, hundreds of MSMEs, 500 free food and cart drinks, as well as a number of rides.

The public can attend the event free of charge. The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya is preparing a situational traffic engineering during the people's party activities for the celebration of the 78th Bhayangkara Day tomorrow.
The public is advised to avoid roads around Monas so that traffic congestion does not occur starting at 09.00 WIB-24.00 WIB. The event is predicted to be attended by approximately 182,000 people.
