Appearing For The First Time At The Glastonbury Festival, Voice Of Baceprot Reaps Praise

Coldplay became the first band to become the headline of the Glastonbury Festival five times since 2016, meaning that it overtook The Cure, which has become the headline four times.

However, there is pride from the Indonesian band, where the metal band from Garut, West Java, Voice of Baceprot (VOB) for the first time appeared at the annual music event of the Glastonbury Festival, which was held in Pilton, Somerset, Great Britain. Launching ANTARA, Saturday, June 29, Voice of Baceprot, fronted by three young women Marsya (vocals and guitars), Widi (bass), and Siti (drums), entertained the audience at the Woodsies Main Stage Festival Glastonbury on Friday morning at 11:30 p.m. local time as the opening band at the event.

Voice of Baceprot's first appearance received a positive response from the audience of the Glastonbury Festival. The official Instagram account @voiceofbaceprot, quoted on Saturday, re-uploaded a number of Stories from spectators who appreciated their performance at the festival.

Voice of Baceprot plays some of their song numbers such as 'God, Allow Me (Please) to Play Music'. Which became special, that day was the birthday of the vocalist Marsya.

Prior to appearing in Glastonbury, on June 26, VOB also performed at the Downharves at the Dome event in London.

The name VOB received attention to the global arena in mid-2017. At that time, the trio, which was still in vocational school, often performed their own song "The Enemy of Earth Is You".

They chose the name baceprot, which in Sundanese means "sonish", to represent the music they carry.
