PAN Will Announce Cagub-Cawagub On The Island Of Java In Early August

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) will announce a candidate pair for governor and deputy governor in 2024 specifically for provinces on the island of Java no later than early August. Among them, the DKI Jakarta Pilkada, West Java Pilkada, East Java Pilkada, and Banten Pilkada. To note, PAN today has provided a recommendation decree to 8 cagub-cawagub pairs for the 2024 Pilkada in the Rakernas IV event at the PAN DPP Office, Saturday, June 29. "The problem of the regional election, we have announced several governor candidates from PAN cadres who have already seen the media. Well, what we have not decided is DKI Jakarta, Central Java, Banten, there are still dynamics," said Deputy PAN Yandri Susanto at the DPP PAN Office, South Jakarta, Saturday, June 29.

Yandri said PAN had pocketed the names of candidates for cagub and cawagub for the four provinces. However, all names are still being discussed and discussed with coalition political parties. "The candidate has entered, there have been several names that have gone through the National Working Meeting aimed at the regional elections, so finally I, Mas Yoga and Bang Pangeran to discuss carefully and communicate with other political parties. So maybe early August or late July we will announce who will be promoted to, especially in Java, Banten, DKI and Central Java, are in West Java," Yandri explained. According to the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR, the Pilkada situation outside Java is not too dynamic. So that PAN can immediately submit a recommendation decree to the candidates.

"But for West Java, DKI Jakarta, Banten, and Central Java, God willing, at the end of July or early August we will carry a couple package in these four areas," explained Yandri. Meanwhile, for the East Java Pilkada, PAN itself has decided the Khofifah Indar Parawansa-Emil Dardak pair with the Indonesian Forward Coalition (KIM) political parties.
