2024 Copa America: Uruguay Party Five Goals Against Bolivia
JAKARTA Uruguay made sure to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2024 Copa America after partying a goal against Bolivia in the second group stage.
The duel between the two teams took place at the MetLife Stadium, United States, Friday, June 28, 2024, morning WIB. La Celeste crushed their opponents with a score of five goals without reply.
Uruguay started their goal party with two goals in the first half. Starting from Facundo Pelistri's goal in the eighth minute and followed by Darwin Nunez's goal fourteen minutes later.
This goal made Nunez, who is now a Liverpool player, score at least one goal in Uruguay's seven consecutive matches. In that period, he was recorded as having netted 10 goals.

The three goals in the second half of each match were scored by Maximiliano Araujo, Real Madrid star Federico Valverde, and closed by former Juventus player Rodrigo Bentancur.
This result strengthens Uruguay's position at the top of the Group C standings. Marcelo Bielsa's team now collects six points from two matches that have been played.
Previously in the inaugural match, La Celeste also won 3-1 against Panama. They will next meet the United States in the group's last match.
Uruguay is the third team to have secured tickets for the quarter-finals. They trailed Argentina and Venezuela, which had already confirmed themselves to the knockout stages.
