KPK Still Waiting For Time To Detain Corruption Suspect Completeness Of House Of DPR Office, Including Indra Iskandar

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that it was still looking for evidence before detaining the suspect in the alleged corruption in the procurement of the completeness of official housing for members of the DPR RI.

This was conveyed by the Director of Investigation of the KPK, Indra Iskandar, when asked about the detention of suspects in the case, one of which was the Secretary General of the DPR RI, Indra Iskandar. He asked the public to be patient because forced efforts would be made at the right time.

"So if it is related to detention, of course, this is also waiting for the time when the evidence is sufficient," said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Friday, June 28.

In addition, the anti-corruption commission is also still waiting for the results of the calculation of state losses. "Why, because the detention limits the time we carry out the investigation," said Asep.

"In the case of Article 2, Article 3, the investigation is for 120 days of detention. Meanwhile, the calculation of state losses could be more than 120 days because it must go to the field, then test one by one from goods," he continued.

As previously reported, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption at the Secretariat General of the DPR regarding the procurement of furniture or furniture at the official residence of lawmakers. It is suspected that the filling of the living room to the bedroom was rigged.

A total of seven people have been prevented from leaving the country in this case. From the information gathered, they are the Secretary General of the DPR Indra Iskandar; Head of the Rumjab Management Section of the DPR RI Hiphi Hidati; President Director of PT Daya Indah Dynamics, Tanti Nugroho; and Director of PT Dwitunggal Bangun Persada, Juanda Hasurungan Sidabutar.

Then it was also prevented by the Director of Operations of PT Avantgarde Production, Kibun Roni; Project Manager of PT Integra Indocabinet, Andrias Catur Prasetya; and Edwin Budiman who are private.
