MKD Promises To Reveal The Names Of DPR Members Who Play Online Gambling

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) will reveal the names of DPR members involved in online gambling. Until now, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) has the names of 82 DPR members who participated in online gambling.

"It was revealed, later the MKD will process it," said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Prince Khairul Saleh at the DPP PAN office, South Jakarta, Thursday, June 27.

Saleh admitted that he did not know the names of the DPR members who participated in online gambling. According to him, in the near future PPATK will submit the names to the DPR MKD and Commission III of the DPR.

"There are 82 members of the DPR who are involved in online gambling. They will be by PPATK, maybe in a few days it will be conveyed, who is suspected of being told Commission III or to MKD. Well, MKD will process the 82 people involved," he said.

Saleh regretted that the members of the council were involved in online gambling. For him, this was an outrageous act.

"Judi is a public disease, but if a member of the council is involved, that's too much," concluded Saleh.

Previously, PPATK found more than 1,000 members of the DPR and DPRD involved in online gambling games. This was revealed by PPATK Head Ivan Yustiavandana in a working meeting with Commission III of the DPR at the DPR building, parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, last Wednesday.

Ivan said that his party would hand over the names of DPR members who were involved in online gambling to Commission III of the DPR and the House of Representatives Honorary Court (MKD) to be followed up. Apart from DPR members, there are also employees at the Secretariat General of the DPR who participate in online gambling.
