Bisma Karisma Reveals Her Life Journey Through Rihlah Album
JAKARTA - After launching four singles, finally Bisma Karisma released an album titled Rohlah. Eight songs were presented in this album.
The launch of Rohlah became a marker of the 33-year-old singer's solo career, previously better known as a member of the SMASH boyband. This album also reveals another side of a Bisma to Indonesian music lovers.
Rohlah itself comes from the Arabic term which means a journey to find knowledge and spiritual enlightenment. For Bisma, this album is a crystallization of her life experience and journey so far.
In the production of the album, Bisma collaborated with Lafa Pratomo as producer of seven songs. Meanwhile, another song was produced by Ayuadi (Heats) and Rizky Parada (Gaung).
The presence of the producers gave a different touch to the works presented in Rohlah, including a song called Angin' which is a recycled work of the legendary Bandung artist, Harry Roesli.
Night was chosen as the main song for this album, which is considered to represent musical exploration and more expressive lyrics but full of meaning.

The album "Rohlah" itself carries more exploratory and expressive music. This shows Bisma's transformation from her cheerful image at SMASH to a more contemplative and reflective side in her solo project.
"Yes, just be a human being, I saw that I was at SMANSH, I was in a crowd, and I was in this solo project, I was silent," said Bisma Karisma in a press release received by VOI, Monday, June 25.
Despite showing a different side, this album remains a personal work for Bisma. For example in the song "Aamiin" which describes the slavery of Bisma to the Creator, which reflects his spiritual side.
To introduce the works of his new album, Bisma and IK Company have organized a special appearance before the album's release. This is a thanksgiving ceremony for Bisma Karisma's spiritual journey in the presentation of her first album.
