KPK Reveals Land Procurement Cases In Rorotan State Loss Of Up To IDR 400 Billion M
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that land acquisition related to the 0 rupiah DP house in Rorotan, North Jakarta caused state losses of up to hundreds of billions of rupiah. The perpetrator is suspected of taking profit from differences in sales prices.
"Then I conveyed the procurement in Rorotan of around 400, Rp400 billion," said KPK Director of Investigation Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, quoted on Wednesday, June 26.
Asep said there was a price difference in efforts to purchase land in this case. However, he has not detailed further the mode used by the suspects.
He also closed the question of the suspects who were caught in this case. "This is a difference, yes, the difference from the price of the person, given by the buyer to the broker at the initial price," he said.
"So the broker buys it to the original land owner," continued Asep.
Previously reported, the KPK has asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to prevent 10 people from leaving the country in connection with the development of alleged corruption in land acquisition that ensnared the former Managing Director of Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles Pinontoan. This effort was made to facilitate the request for information.
