Act Again, Child Predator Recidivists In Asahan Arrested Again
A child predatory recidivist named Muhammad Ikhasan (24) was again arrested by the police after molesting an 11-year-old girl in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra) on Monday, June 24.
When questioned by officers, the man who works as a traveling gallon water seller every day admitted that he had intercourse with the victim in an oil palm plantation. After carrying out his depraved act, Ikhasan left the victim just like that.
Kasatreskrim Polres Asahan AKP Rianto said the disclosure of this case began with the report of the victim's parents to the Asahan Police Headquarters. After receiving the report, the investigative team immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and examined a number of witnesses.
It didn't take long, a team from the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Asahan Police Satreskrim managed to apprehend the perpetrator at his home in the East Kisaran area, Asahan.
"The real suspect is a recidivist who has done the same thing. He just got out of prison in 2023," said Rianto, Monday.

Rianto revealed that the incident began when the victim who was about to pray at the mosque suddenly met the perpetrator. Then the perpetrator persuaded the victim to join him.
"Incidentally the victim and his friend were carried together. After that, the victim's friend was left by the perpetrator because he reasoned that he would pick up another friend. However, after arriving at a quiet place in an oil palm plantation, the victim was taken down by the perpetrator and molested," said Rianto.
