Monday Morning, Bandung District Court Holds Pretrial Session Of Pegi Setiawan
Bandung District Court (PN) is ready to hold a pretrial hearing filed by the suspect Pegi Setiawan over the murder case of Vina and Eky in Cirebon today, Monday, June 24.
Head of Bandung District Court John Sarman Saragih said his party had coordinated with the police to provide security so that the trial would take place in a conducive manner starting at 09.00 WIB.
"Our internal security coordinates with the Bandung District Court. Then external security also coordinates with the police and other officers," he said in Bandung, Sunday, June 23, as reported by ANTARA.
John revealed that the pretrial hearing which was held on Monday will begin at around 09.00 WIB in the courtroom 6.
He ensured that the pretrial hearing proposed by the Legal Team to Go to Setiawan would run professionally and be free from the interference of other parties.
"Therefore, I still ask and ask that we entrust it to the court so that the best decisions will be given from the Bandung District Court," he said.
During the trial, his party appointed a single judge, namely Eman Sulaeman and would be accompanied by a clerk to replace Ahmad Al Atta.
"The completeness of the trial has been fulfilled optimally. It is clean, neat, other equipment, both the needs of the media in order to cover, we have prepared it optimally and completely," he said.
Previously, on Tuesday (11/6/2024), as many as 22 attorneys for the suspect, Pegi Setiawan, filed a pretrial lawsuit against the Bandung District Court.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast, said that his party had formed a legal team to face a pretrial lawsuit filed by Pegi Setiawan's attorney.
"In handling the pretrial lawsuit that was faced, of course we have prepared a team from the West Java Regional Police," he said.

He emphasized that the West Java Regional Police were ready to face the pretrial lawsuit. In fact, he has prepared documents to face a pretrial lawsuit.
"This team has been formed and of course to face a pretrial lawsuit from the attorney of the suspect PS," he said.
