The Ministry of Law and Human Rights: Results Of The Democratic Has Been Submitted, Under Research

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Law and Human Rights has accepted the results of the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress (KLB) in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra which appointed the Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko as the general chairman replacing Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

After the files are received, the ranks of the Directorate of General Legal Administration (AHU) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights examine the completeness of the files.

"The KLB has submitted a request for endorsement of the management of the KLB results to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights", said the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly in a statement to reporters, Tuesday, March 16.

This file will be examined later and if anything is found incomplete, the Democrat Party will be given time to make corrections to the file.

"We will examine the completeness of the KLB implementation document, whether it is by the provisions of the legislation and party AD/RT (Statutes and bylaws). We will see first. Usually, if something is incomplete, we ask for it to be completed, of course, there is a deadline for us to give it to complete", she said.

It is known that the Democrat Party KLB file was submitted to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on Monday, March 15 yesterday.

Moeldoko was elected as Chairman of the Democratic Party in an extraordinary congress (KLB) which was held at The Hill Sibolangit Hotel, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, Friday, March 5. Moeldoko defeated Marzuki Alie after the names of both were submitted by KLB participants in the trial.

"Hereby decides Mr. Moeldoko as the General Chair of the Democratic Party for the period 2021-2025", said Chairman of the Assembly Jhoni Allen.
