Israeli Citizen Shot Dead In West Bank
JAKARTA - An Israeli national was found shot dead in the West Bank. Soldiers said the man was shot dead in the Palestinian city of Qalqilya, where Israeli forces are currently operating in the area.
Reported by AP, Saturday, June 22, the news was delivered a day after Israeli troops shot dead two militants in the same city in the West Bank. No further details were published.
Violence has increased in the West Bank since the Israeli-Hamas war erupted in October 2024. Since then, 549 Palestinians in the region have died from Israeli gunfire, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
In the same period, Palestinians in the West Bank have killed at least nine Israelis, including five soldiers, according to UN data.
