Speeding Jetski Driver Hits Boat, 2 Teenagers In US Illinois Died

JAKARTA - Two girls have been killed a dozen years after the jetski they were traveling in at high speed hit a boat in Lake Marie, Illinois, United States (US).

Citing Metro.co.uk, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said the two deaths of a 16-year-old girl as a Yamaha WaveRunner jetski driver and the 13-year-old girl.

The jetski flew to the mainland after hitting a 55-year-old man's boat. The two victims who were wearing life vests were thrown into the water.

Boat passengers immediately pulled the unconscious two of them out of the water and then called an emergency call.

The two girls were then rushed to the Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. However, both were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Meanwhile, four passengers on the boat who were hit by the jetski only suffered minor injuries.

ABC 7 reported that the police who interviewed a number of witnesses found the statements of the two victims speeding towards the boat and then the accident occurred at 17.15, Tuesday, June 11.

This jetski accident has been handled by the Marine Unit of the Illinois Office and the Illinois Conservation Police.
