Entering Kemarau, BMKG Detects Hotspots In 3 Riau Regencies

PekanbarU - The Pekanbaru Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) detected five hotspots (hotspots) of forest and land fires (karhutla) in the Riau region. Forecaster on Duty BMKG Pekanbaru Indah DN said all the hotspots were located in 3 districts.

"One point in Bengkalis Regency, two in Kuantan Singingi and two others in Indragiri Hulu," said Indah, Friday, June 21.

He explained that apart from Riau, there are two other provinces that have hotspots, namely South Sumatra two points and Lampung two points.

Meanwhile, the weather in Pekanbaru City and its surroundings is sunny and cloudy. Rain with light to moderate intensity is predicted in parts of Rokan Hilir, Bengkalis, Siak, Meranti Islands, Pelalawan, and Kuantan Singingi Regencies.
