The National Police does not rule out the possibility of developing other alleged criminal acts involving the father of Pegi Setiawan alias Perong in the series of cases of the Vina-Eky Cirebon murder. One of them is about the alleged attempt to obstruct or challenge the investigation.The father of Pegi Setiawan alias Perong is known as A. Saprudi. Saprudi is known to disguise the name Pegi Setiawan to Robi Irawan when he visited the Katapang area, Bandung Regency, in 2019.He also briefly introduced Pegi Setiawan with the name Robi Irawan to the rented owner not as his son, but his nephew.However, Shandi said that for now the West Java Regional Police will focus first on resolving the Vina murder case. If everything has been completed, then, the alleged other criminal acts will begin to be investigated.
"Yes, we wanted to focus first on the case of the two cases of Eky and Vina," said Shandi.In handling the current case, the West Java Police have completed the preparation of the case files for the suspect Sigi Setiawan alias Perong in the alleged murder case of Vina and Muhammad Rizky alias Eky. Thus, investigators handed it over to the West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati).
