1.3 Million People Refuge From Rafah In Six Weeks
More than 1.3 million people are believed to have fled from Rafah to other regions in Gaza within six weeks, according to the United Nations Agency for Assistance and Works for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA).
UNRWA memperkirakan ada 65,000 orang yang berlindung di Rafah, katanya di X. Enam minggu lalu ada sekitar 1,4 juta orang, dikutip CNN, Senin, 17 Juni.
UNRWA did not provide details on where these people fled to Gaza.
"Since the war began, families in Gaza have been forced to flee repeatedly," the agency said. "They continue to seek security in a place that doesn't actually exist," UNRWA added.
Last week, the Norwegian Refugee Council outlined in a report that nearly one million people - half of Gaza's population - had been displaced in the past month after the expansion of Israeli military operations in Rafah.

The report said it was increasingly difficult for refugees in Gaza to be relocated, facing problems such as road congestion, population density, fuel shortages, and a sixfold increase in transportation costs.
this report also warns of an increase in cases of Hepatitis A, and the accumulation of solid waste becomes a critical problem.
