School Holidays And Eid Al-Adha, Minister Of Transportation Reminds People To Use Roadworthy Buses
Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi reminded the public to use roadworthy buses with drivers who have met the safety and security requirements. This is in line with the entry of the long holiday season of school and Eid al-Adha.
The bus that is roadworthy is a bus that has gone through periodic vehicle tests and has correspondence completeness. The bus must also be driven by a capable driver.
Budi also asked local governments and tourist attraction managers to jointly remind the public of the importance of using road-worthy buses.
"I ask to educate the public so that when they come to tourist attractions using buses that have been ramp checked and have good drivers. Because they use trusted buses and drivers who have capabilities, the cost is not too expensive," he said in an official statement, Sunday, June 16.
Budi bilang, kini masyarakat bisa memeriksa keamanan dan kelengkapan bus pariwisata secara mandiri, dengan memasukan nomor kendaraan pada web https://mitradarat.dephub.go.id.
"That way, people can play a role in checking the condition of the bus," he said.
