Fans Of Josh Groban, A Audience Singing 'You Raise Me Up' Accompanied By David Foster

JAKARTA - David Foster's concert at the 2024 Premium Music Experience (PME) held by OCBC was warm and intimate. About ten thousand spectators who attended ICE BSD, Tangerang, Friday, June 14, were late in the combination of the music harmony and beautiful singing of the performers.

A funny moment occurred when David Foster invited several viewers to show their skills in singing. Similar to last year's PME event, the Canadian music producer and songwriter randomly chose the audience to sing

You know, many people feel they can sing better than Josh Groban and Brian McKnight. And I think those people are also here, "said David Foster, greeted by laughter from the audience.

"And they are sure about that. You know that because he was told by his parents and family like that until now," Foster continued.

Then, Foster chose a female audience named Marsha and a male audience named Andreas to sing. They brought the 'The Prayer' popularized by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion.

After finishing bringing 'The Prayer', Andreas is still standing and hasn't returned to his seat yet. He still wants to sing one more song. He asked David Foster to play 'You Raise Me Up' for him.

"You have another song to sing? Josh will sing the song later. Sorry," replied David Foster.

However, Foster was willing to accompany Andreas. In fact, he asked to be accompanied by the basic A flat tone.

What the hell, wait a minute, A flat? Oh my goodness," said Foster.

Finally, Foster and the band accompanied Andreas. The show was running for, until finally the key changed and the music was out of tune.

Foster was confused because of the base tone that is different from the original version.

"Sorry, I made a mistake. Oh my God."

"It's okay. Just relax," Andreas said.

The music continued, Andreas managed to bring 'You Raise Me Up' until the end.

Wow, you're amazing, Josh Groban will be very upset, "said Foster, greeted by laughter from the audience.

Andreas was the happiest audience that night. Towards the end of the concert, Josh Groban asked him to go up on stage. In fact, Andreas had time to sing a line of songs.
