OBM Market Response In North Sulawesi, Suzuki Marine Inaugurates New Outlet In Manado

PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) answered the rapid development of the maritime industry in Indonesia, especially in the North Sulawesi region, by inaugurating its second outlet in Manado City through its Suzuki Marine business unit.

The outlet is more precisely located in the Kalasey Satu area, which is intended to increase service capacity in line with the increasing tourism industry and local water transportation.

Synergizing with PT Karunia Jaya Marine, the development of outlets with complete 3S (sales, service, spare parts) services is prepared to become the largest showroom and workshop for Suzuki Marine to serve the needs of motor outboards (OBM) in the North Sulawesi region.

"We believe the service development by Suzuki Karunia Jaya Marine dealers will make it easier for Suzuki loyal customers to improve their business, get service services, to guarantee the availability of more adequate parts with strategic locations that certainly provide operational efficiency," said Suzuki Marine Dept Head of PT SIS Aceng Ulumudin, in his official statement, Friday, June 14.

Previously, Suzuki Marine together with PT Karunia Jaya Marine had operated its first OBM dealer on Jl. 17 August, Manado, since 2021. Armed with market potential in the North Sulawesi region reaching more than 500 ships for resort accommodation and water transportation, Suzuki Marine saw a need to improve services to consumers, so it was necessary to add sales and full-sale services on a larger scale.

"In the future, we hope that we can continue to support tourism and water industry players in Indonesia, especially North Sulawesi," said Aceng.

Prioritizing superior products and services, the Karunia Jaya Marine dealer equipped with 3S services, namely Sales, Service, and Shareparts was established on an area of 905 m, as well as reliable employees of 18 people.

In addition to the facilities at the dealer, the official OBM Suzuki Marine repair service also serves service on the spot, where periodically Suzuki Marine technicians will visit fishermen's gathering points and ship hubs to service directly at the location.

"The maritime industry in the North Sulawesi region continues to show an increase. Until now we continue to receive many requests from relevant industry players and are optimistic that the addition of this new outlet service will further increase customer interest and satisfaction," said Director of PT Karunia Jaya Marine Juan Adrian Aswan.

Currently Karunia Jaya Marine already has 3 outlets, two of which are in North Sulawesi Province and one in Gorontalo Province.

"Of course this is an honor in itself for us and all workers, and we hope to continue to provide quality services to all customers," concluded Juan.
