"We are preparing steps so that development continues and the community is not harmed," said Acting (Plt) Deputy Chief of OIKN Raja Juli Antoni in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan Province, quoted from Antara, Friday, June 14.

"One of the steps we have prepared is the handling of social impacts (PDSK) plus," he explained.
The PDSK plus process is currently in the stage of determining the subjects and objects carried out by the North Penajam Paser Regency Government, some areas of which are part of the IKN area.
After the determination of the subject and object was completed, according to him, the integrated team consisting of provincial and district governments, OIKN, and the National Land Agency (BPN) conducted socialization to the public.
One of the obstacles faced in accelerating the development of the new capital city of Indonesia is the land acquisition needed for the construction project location.
