Rifda Undergoes Training Camp In The Netherlands For The 2024 Paris Olympics
JAKARTA gymnastics athlete Rifda Irfanaluthfi will undergo a training camp in Heereveen, Netherlands, to maximize preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics in the middle of this year.
Rifda plans to go to the Netherlands with the coach, Eva Novalia, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, morning WIB. From the Netherlands, both of them will immediately fly to Paris to appear at the 2024 Olympics.
The 24-year-old said that he departed with confidence, physical, mental, and an improving knee condition.
"His current condition feels very much an increase. Now he has been accompanied by physiotherapists who have actually attached to me during the training camp in the Netherlands," Rifda said in a statement received.

The Netherlands was chosen by Rifda to undergo a training camp because the country is suitable for weather adaptation, has adequate equipment, and is located quite close to Paris City.
The General Chairperson of the Indonesian Gymnastics Association (PB Persani), Ita Yuliati, has confirmed that Rifda's condition is currently ready to go to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
"When he found out he was injured. Rifda had cried and said that this was the end of everything. However, I said this is not the end, we will fight together," said Ita.
Rifda is the first Indonesian athlete to appear in the Olympics from gymnastics. He is one of several Indonesian athletes who have confirmed that he will appear in Paris later.
The 2024 Paris Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. In total there are more than 10 thousand athletes from 206 delegates who will be contestants in the world's most popular multi-events.
Indonesia came with a target of bringing home more than two gold medals for the first time in the history of participating in the Olympics.
