Indonesia Ready To Send Doctors To Operate Field Hospital In Gaza
JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto said Indonesia was ready to send doctors and nurses to operate field hospitals in Gaza to help the Palestinians who were injured there.
This was conveyed by Prabowo while attending the Gaza Emergency Response Summit in Jordan some time ago, as stated by Prabowo in his statement at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Thursday afternoon, after meeting President Joko Widodo.
"We also at that time (while attending the summit in Jordan) said Indonesia was ready to send doctors and nurses to operate field hospitals in the Gaza area," Prabowo said after reporting to Jokowi in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 13. According to Prabowo, the plan to send health workers to Gaza is being discussed with several parties.

Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo, Prabowo said, instructed the TNI to continue preparing Hercules aircraft to send aid to Gaza by air if requested and allowed.
Prabowo said Indonesia was one of the most concrete countries when attending the Gaza Emergency Response Summit in Jordan.
In addition to being ready to send doctors, Indonesia is also ready to evacuate 1,000 Palestinian patients to Indonesia, as an initial stage. Indonesia is also ready to accept orphans in Palestine who are traumatized, to be treated and sent to Indonesia, before being returned to Gaza if the situation is safe.
