Daur Hidup, Donne Maula's First Album With A Certificate Of Words
JAKARTA - Donne Maula's work began to find a separate place in the hearts of music lovers. After being known for being 'Love Through Words', Donne released his first album entitled 'Daur Hidup' with nine tracks in it.
Donne previously had more wara-wiri behind the scenes as a songwriter for the singers, one of whom was his own wife, Yura Yunita. Five years later since he first released the single "Dancing Until Tua" in 2019, now the debut album entitled Daur Hidup has been officially released to all digital music streaming services.
So far, Donne feels too comfortable writing songs for other singers, thus setting aside her career as a musician who appears with her own work. On the other hand, she also finds it difficult to tell stories about herself, not comfortable to reopen past stories.
Now making peace with stories in the past, Donne dares to open her story into nine songs on the album Daur Hidup. Through the nine songs in it, Donne invites listeners to enter and see the contents of her head that are boisterous and winding, full of color and various atmospheres. With Daur Hidup, Donne also wants to make listeners understand the ups and downs of life that are commonly experienced as humans.
That's also the reason Donne chose the song, Daur Hidup as the title of his first album. Because this song is a big umbrella for the contents of the album about the wheel of life that always revolves around. Happy, sad, hopes and disappointment are all enshrined in the song Daur Hidup. Another reason why Donne shared her story is because she wanted to normalize that men can open up about their feelings and not cover them up. Things that are commonplace always happened to most men.

The album 'Daur Hidup' presents nine songs with five new songs and four previously released songs. Previously, Donne had told about falling and waking himself through four singles: "Dancing Until Old", "Love Through Words", "Being Human", and "Sebar". Additional new songs are, "Living", "You're Sad", "Do You Know?, "What's All This For?" and "Mah".
Donne invited several producer collaborators to give various patterns on his albums such as Iwan Popo, Ivan Gojaya and 'Juké Musicworks'. The result is the album Daur Hidup which can feel lively and positive, but also calm and contemplative.
The hope is that listeners can feel that all these feelings can be processed into various different ways. Sad not always good, happy not always happy.
To complete the presentation of the Daur Hidup album, the lyric video and live performance of the song on Daur Hidup album will air on June 13 on Donne Maula's Youtube account.
