Ukraine Claims To Destroy Russian Missile System In Crimea
JAKARTA - The Ukrainian military claims to have attacked three Russian missile air defense systems in Russia's occupied Crimea. This incident is the second attack on air defenses on the peninsula this week.
The attack targeted more sophisticated S-300 systems and two S-400 systems near Belbek and Sevastopol, Ukraine's general staff said.
As a result of the attack, two S-300 and S-400 complex radars were destroyed. Information about the third radar is being clarified," he said via Telegram.
The Governor of Sevastopol, who was inaugurated by Russia, said the air defenses managed to counter missile attacks overnight and no damage occurred.
