Audience With Moeldoko, Japanese Technology Company Ready To Help RI Pursue Target Of 9 Million Digital Talents 2030

JAKARTA The Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko received the arrival of the head of a technology company from Japan, Scent Store at the Bina Graha Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12. They discussed the development of digital talent in Indonesia.

At the meeting, the Scent Store expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Indonesian government in printing digital talents.

"The Scent Store not only wants to introduce new technology, but also wants to work together to increase the capacity of human resources in Indonesia, especially in the digital field," said Scent Store Representative Director Alex Tsai in a written statement, Wednesday, June 12.

For information, currently Scent Store is developing technology that converts aroma into digital data and is re-investigated into a real aroma. This technology uses aroma analysis techniques, aroma digitization, aroma data storage, and aroma synthesis. The way it works is quite simple, namely users only need to download applications that store aroma data. Next, connect with a diffuser device or propagator. Within a few seconds users can smell the same aroma as the original aroma

"This innovation is extraordinary, we never imagined that the sense of smell can also be channeled into digital data," said Moeldoko.

Furthermore, Moeldoko welcomed the collaboration in developing digital talent offered by the Scent Store. Moreover, Indonesia is pursuing the target of nine million digitals by 2030.

He added that currently Indonesia can only print 100,000 to 200,000 digital talents per year. In fact, to reach 9 million by 2030, the number of digital talents that must be printed is 600,000 people per year. This means that there is still a gap of four hundred thousand to five hundred thousand per year," he said.

Moeldoko assessed that the supply of digital talent in Indonesia needed to be added. For this reason, the center for the development of digital talent innovation must also be more massive.

"We hope that this collaboration can be realized in concrete steps, so that Indonesia's dream can be fulfilled immediately in realizing digital talent, especially innovation in this fragrance field," said Moeldoko.
