Pati Police Name 1 More New Suspect In Car Rental Boss Beating Case

The role of suspect M in the incident was to kick one of the victims with the initials SH who was injured and hospitalized.In addition to arresting suspect M, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of clothes and sandals from the suspect for further processing.With the determination of one person, the total number of suspects in the case that killed the boss of the rental car amounted to four people.Previously, on June 7, 2024, the police arrested a suspect with the initials EN (51) who played a role in chasing and blocking a white Honda Mobilio car with police number D 1131 AEZ brought by victim BH. Suspect EN also pushed, hit, and stepped on the victim BH.Another suspect with the initials BC (37) who was arrested on the same date also played a role in chasing, blocking and taking over a white Honda Mobilio with the number D 1131 AEZ brought by the victim BH and hitting and stepping on the victim.Then for the suspect with the initials AG (34) who was arrested on June 8, 2024, he played a role in hitting and crossing the victim BH on a motorbike and stepping on and hitting the victim SH wearing a helmet."For this case, suspects EN, AG, and BC will be charged with Article 170 Paragraph 2 3 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 12 years in prison, while suspect M is charged with Article 170 Paragraph 2 of the 2nd Criminal Code with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years," said the Chief of Police.The case of the beating of four people occurred on Thursday (6/6) at 13.00 WIB, starting when the four people were about to take a rental car or rental that had not been returned. Based on the GPS (global positioning system) or a tracking system installed in the car, it is known that the car was in the house of a resident in Sumbersoko Village, Sukolilo District, Pati.
When the victims were about to take the car with the spare key, a number of people who knew it shouted at them as thieves, resulting in a beating by the residents.The four victims of the beating were BH, SH, and ES who were residents of Jakarta, as well as KB residents of Tegal. As a result of the beating, the victim with the initials BH as the owner of the rental car died with severe injuries all over his body, while the other three victims were injured and taken to Kayen Hospital, Pati.
