Telkomsel Ready To Adopt Wi-Fi Technology 7, So First In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Telkomsel has officially completed the first validation of Wi-Fi 7 technology in Indonesia with the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia (Kominfo) to present high-speed internet.
Through a trial conducted with a number of these global technology partners, the functionality and capability of Wi-Fi 7 Telkomsel shows performance and stability that can significantly improve network experience.
"Together with stakeholders, one of which is Telkomsel, we will continue to strive to bring the latest technological evolution developments in Indonesia to continue to improve the better Internet access experience," said Director of Resources Arrangement of the Directorate General of SDPPI Kominfo, Denny Setiawan, quoted Monday, June 10.
Denny also said that he hoped that this sustainable collaboration would help accelerate the achievement of the 2045 Digital Indonesia Vision (VID).
Vice President of Technology Strategy and Consumer Product Innovation Telkomsel, Ronald Limoa, also said that the presence of Wi-Fi 7 is in line with Telkomsel's strategic mission to become the leading telecommunication service provider in the country.
