Samsung Will Add HDR10+ Support To The Instant Slow-Mo Feature
JAKARTA Instant Slow-Mo, one of the generating artificial intelligence (AI)-based features in the Galaxy S24 series, will be updated by Samsung. The plan, Samsung will add HDR10+ to the feature.
As the name implies, Instant Slow-Mo was launched to make video movements artificially slow. This feature will create a new frame in the video and add an artificial frame between the original frames.
Although the slow motion of Instant Slow-Mo looks natural, this feature will make the resolution of the video bad. Currently, Instant Slow-Mo cannot activate the HDR10+ or SDR videos, but this shortcoming will soon be overcome.

Found for the first time by SamMobile, the official moderator at the Samsung Korea Community forum said the company would add HDR10+ support to its next software update.
The moderator did not explain what kind of update would add HDR10+ support to Instant Slow-Mo. The reason is, there are two types of updates in Samsung, namely regular software updates and operating system (OS) updates.
For now, Instant Slow-Mo can only be used in the Galaxy S24 series. This feature will be extended to other phones, such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. However, it is not yet known when the feature will be released to the device.
