Responding To Reports To MKD, Bamsoet: These Brothers Lack Of Reading
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo or Bamsoet casually responded to the report to the Council's Honorary Court (MKD) regarding all political parties agreeing to the amendment to the 1945 Constitution. Instead, he said the reporter did not read his statement in its entirety.
"It's just fun because maybe our brothers and sisters don't read, don't read in full, they've been arrested in pieces," Bamsoet told reporters at the PKB DPP office, Jalan Raden Saleh, Central Jakarta, Saturday, June 8.
Bamsoet explained that his statement was just a supposition. "That if all political party leaders through factions in the DPR plus DPD members agree and fulfill the elements of a third of the proposal to amend the Constitution, we at the MPR are ready to implement it," he said.
"This is a clear sentence. On TV, you continue to play, there is no sentence saying that all factions have agreed," continued the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party.

Thus, Bamsoet considered the report far-fetched. Because he felt he had never said that all parties had given approval for amendments to the 1945 Constitution.
"The point is, the point is that the report was made up.... The name is also that of the younger students, we used to be like that," said Bamsoet with a smile.
As previously reported, the Chairman of the MPR RI Bamsoet was reported to the Honorary Court of the Council (MKD) by Azhari, Thursday, June 6. He is considered to have stated that all factions have approved the amendment to the 1945 Constitution based on news in online media.
