Premium Package Users Can Test YouTube's Latest Design

JAKARTA The latest design from the desktop version of YouTube has received negative responses from most of its users. Many don't like YouTube's latest design because of its very different appearance.

In the latest version, users will see a row of tiles that contain recommendations when playing videos. In addition, comments at the bottom of the video are moved to the right side of the video so that users do not need to scroll the screen.

The design update, which feels like an overhaul, has received a lot of criticism since its release in April. This trial was suspended for several weeks, but YouTube re-launched its update in May.

This latest desktop version of YouTube is still being criticized so YouTube provides users with the option. This update is added to the experimental feature and users can choose to use the design or not.

If you are interested in trying out the latest design, you can access the New Experimental Features Try page. Before implementing the design update, you have to subscribe to the premium package first, then click the Register button.

This experimental feature is only available until July 1st. YouTube will withdraw its update once the deadline ends. Unfortunately, it is not clear whether this update will be released to all users after its testing period ends.
