DHF In Bogor Regency Reaches 1,932 Cases, 18 Patients Die
BOGOR - From early January to June 2024, the death toll due to exposure to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) has reached 18 people in Bogor Regency.
Head of the Disease Prevention and Control Division (P2P) of the Bogor Regency Health Office (Dinkes), Adang Mulyana explained, the number of DHF patients who died in this manner was based on data from puskesmas, clinics, and hospitals in Bogor Regency.
"The increase in cases starting at the end of 2023, especially December, was 278 cases, January 256 cases, February 313 cases, March 561 cases and April 408 cases," said Adang, Friday, June 7.
Adang said that the total number of dengue cases in Bogor Regency from January to June 2024 had reached 1,932 people. Meanwhile, 18 people died.
According to him, compared to 2023, there was an increase in dengue cases in Bogor Regency. The increase is almost double every month.
From early January to June, hundreds of residents were exposed to dengue fever and needed further treatment by the medical team.
"The highest distribution of dengue cases in five sub-districts, namely Cibinong District with 224 cases, Cileungsi with 209 cases, Jonggol with 145 cases, Gunung Putri with 134 cases, and Bojonggede District with 93 cases," he explained.
Adang said that his party continues to make efforts to appeals and socialize clean lifestyles to prevent the increase in dengue patients in Bogor Regency.
One of them is carried out in several areas that are relatively vulnerable. "We continue to educate the public so that they want PSN and the movement to clean the environment at least once a week," said Adang.

"The weather sometimes rains sometimes hot, causing longing and a lot of mosquito-laying sites and finally hatching simultaneously," he said.
