Hutama Karya Speeds Up The Settlement Of PSN Toll Roads And Dams Until The End Of 2024

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has confirmed the completion of a number of National Strategic Projects (PSN) which are currently still ongoing and are still the company's focus throughout 2024.

HK's commitment is in line with the target from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) until the end of 2024 which was conveyed by the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of PUPR Mohammad Zainal Fatah during the National Working Meeting for the Acceleration of Settlement and Pre-Evaluation of PSN at Park Hyatt Jakarta, Tuesday, May 14.

On that occasion, Zainal Fatah said, the PSN completion target was divided into two terms, namely the first and second semesters.

Meanwhile, in the first half, the completion of the 10 projects is targeted.

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim said, of the targeted PSN, some of them were directed by Hutama Karya, such as the Way Apu Dam with a progress of 84.86 percent and the target was completed in October 2024.

"Then, the Meninting Dam was 77.66 percent and the target was completed in August 2024 and the Fort Kobema SPAM was 68 percent and the target was completed in December 2024," said Adjib in a written statement, Friday, June 7.

Meanwhile, for the toll road project, namely the construction of the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road Section 1 of the Padang Tiji-Seulimum section with the current progress of 86.89 percent and the target is completed in September 2024.

Next, the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat (Kupat) toll road with current progress reaches 100 percent, of which Section 1 (High Cliff-Indrapura) has been operating since November 10, 2023.

Meanwhile, Section 2 (Indrapura-Kuala Tanjung), Section 3 (High Cliff-Serbelawan) and Section 4

(Serbelawan-Pematang Siantar) segment of the Serbelawan-Sinaksak segment is targeted to operate in October 2024.

"Hutama Karya is optimistic that it can complete a number of PSN projects in accordance with the planned targets to realize equal distribution of infrastructure development in various regions," he said.

To ensure that these projects are completed on time, Hutama Karya carries out a number of acceleration strategies, such as ensuring that the needs of resources, materials and tools are met, controlling and evaluating targets intensely so that planning can be achieved on schedule.

Furthermore, coordinating regularly with stakeholders involved to help smooth work, including coordinating on land acceleration which is still in the process supported by the use of digital construction.

Adjib said the presence of these projects would later provide a number of benefits, such as increasing connectivity and accessibility between regions, encouraging sustainable economic growth and providing raw water and irrigation to improve the quality of life and welfare of the community.

"Hutama Karya is also committed to always prioritizing the aspects of Work Safety and Health (K3) in every work, ensuring that the infrastructure development produced is not only quality, but also safe for all parties involved and the environment around the project," he concluded.
