Help Market MSME Products, Pegadaian Boss Targets Vending Machine To Attend 12 Regional Offices

JAKARTA - PT Pegadaian (Persero) inaugurated an automatic selling machine facility for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products. This machine will be available in all Pegadaian offices.

President Director of Pegadaian Damar Latri Setiawan said this beverage ending is the company's effort to help market MSME products to the public with a wider reach. In particular, Pegadaian fostered MSMEs.

"This vortex machine will be an effective means to expand market access for MSME products, so that it can increase the income and welfare of small business actors," Damar said during the inauguration of the conversational machine at the Pegadaian Building, Kenari, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 5.

Damar said that the available winging machine contains 24 types of MSME products assisted by Pegadaian. Later, the products displayed will be changed.

Furthermore, Damar also said that the price of MSME products sold inverse machines was relatively cheap. The reason is, Pegadaian does not take advantage of product sales.

"This is all MSMEs fostered by Pegadaian, indeed we standardize it to be able to enter the Killing machine. We don't take margins, we are grateful (to be able to) attach Pegadaian stickers," he explained.

Regarding thevending machine, Damar targets that each Pegadaian regional office will have a one-verting machine.

"Later on the target of every 12 regional offices we have one preventive machine each," said Damar.

Damar also revealed that the investment for one automatic selling machine or machine ending machine to introduce MSME products is worth IDR 90 million.

"About Rp. 90 million, made locally. It's easy for local people to (made automatic selling machines)," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Expert Staff for Finance and MSME Development of the Ministry of SOEs, Loto Srinaita Ginting said, that SOEs have actually and consistently provided three forms of support for the development of MSMEs, namely increasing class MSME support in the form of coaching and assistance, financial support, and marketing support.

He said thevending machine was a new breakthrough from the Ministry of SOEs to support MSMEs in increasing the marketing and sales of MSME products.

"This means that the Ministry of SOEs together with SOEs continues to explore relevant and contemporary marketing channels, in the hope that the MSME products that have been fostered can be absorbed by SOEs and the general public," he said.

Lotto also asked Pegadaian directors to take advantage of the MSME products in this diversity machine, which is a wider BUMN work unit. For example, for snacks during meetings.
