Bambang Susantono And Dhony Rahajoe Resign From OIKN, Minister Of Transportation Ensure That Transportation Projects Will Not Be Hampered
Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi confirmed the resignation of Bambang Susantono and Dhony Rahajoe from the Head and Deputy Chief of OIKN will not interfere with the sustainability of transportation projects in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.
Currently, transportation projects that are being prepared at IKN are autonomous rail transit (ART) and IKN VVIP Airport.
"No, top, no. In fact, it's good," he said briefly when met at the DPR Building, DPR complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 5.
Meanwhile, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Transportation Adita Irawati said various transportation projects would not be disrupted and had been going according to plan.
Adita said that in the near future, the Ministry of Transportation will conduct a trial for the ART route at IKN. As for the construction of VVIP Airport, it has been running as planned.
"There is no problem everything is according to plan," said Adita.
Previously reported, the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi said that the trial of the autonomous train or Autonomous Rail Transit (ART) could be carried out in August 2024, as the construction of the West Side National Ambu Road was completed.
This was conveyed by Budi after reviewing the location for the construction of an autonomous train or ART at IKN, East Kalimantan, Monday, June 3.
Budi also appreciated the Ministry of PUPR for completing the construction of the West Side National Asymptomatic Road in the Core Area of the IKN Government Center, one of which is for the ART route.
"God willing, with the existing route, ART can be tested in August," he said in an official statement, Monday, June 3.
Not only ART, Budi also revealed that the airport at the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan can operate immediately. He said, targeted for August 1, 2024.
This assurance was conveyed by Budi Karya Sumasi after checking the progress of the IKN Airport construction.
During his visit, Budi visited several points, such as the location of the runway and the terminal building.

Budi said the progress of construction in the two locations and a number of other facilities in general was good and as planned.
"For the runway and terminal building, the changes are significant and clear, when compared to when I last came here at the end of April. This progress is certainly very encouraging," he said in an official statement, Monday, June 3.
"God willing, in July we will test and be ready to operate to commemorate Independence Day on August 17," he continued.
