Shin Tae-yong Immediately Sets A Target To Win Against Iraq In SUGBK
JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, is optimistic about the match against Iraq at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) on Thursday, June 6, 2024, afternoon WIB. Not wanting to waste opportunities, the coach immediately set a target to win at home.
The match against Iraq became one of the crucial matches of the Indonesian national team in the second round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone. To be able to penetrate into the third round, the Garuda Squad only needs one victory from the two matches that will be faced, namely against Iraq and the Philippines.
Despite having the opportunity from these two matches, the South Korean coach did not want to waste the time and staff of the Garuda Squad. He wants to immediately target a better victory against Iraq, which has a FIFA rating than Indonesia.
