The Tarkam Match That Was Enlivened By League 1 Players Was Chaotic, The Referee Was Beaten

JAKARTA - A soccer tournament between villages (tarkam) in Semarang Regency which was also enlivened by chaotic League 1 players. The referee who led the match was beaten by players until he was rushed to the hospital.

The beating tragedy took place in the Bener Bersatu Cup final on Sunday, June 2, 2024. The match brought together PS Putra Bakti from Patemon Village against PS Ar Rafi Ampel from Boyolali Regency.

Although it was a tarkam match, the agenda was also enlivened by several professional players in League 1, such as Bayu Pradana, Bagus Kahfi, Bagas Kaffa, Joko Ribowo, Wahyu Prasetyo, Heru Setyawan, to the former captain of the Indonesian national team, Wahyu Wijiastanto.

The final party was indeed hot and tarnished because of the beating against the referee on duty. The action began when the referee who led the match, Hadi Suroso, pointed to the spot for PS Ar Rafi.

However, at the same time the PS Putra Bakti players felt disapproved and immediately chased the referee. In the video recording uploaded by the Instagram account @forumwasitindonesia, Bayu Pradana was seen kicking the referee while jumping.

As a result of the beating incident, it was reported that the referee had to be rushed to the hospital and opname.

After the incident went viral, a number of League 1 players involved were also in the spotlight. Barito Putera's player, Bagus Kahfi, is no exception.

Through the same source, Bagus Kahfi has given an explanation that he was not involved in the beatings at all even though he was at the location of the match.

"Mas, sorry, try to watch the video again. I and Bagas hit the referee? I would dare anything if I hit or touched the referee," Bagus said in an upload @forumwasitindonesia quoted on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

"Whether everything in the video I and Bagas were involved in beating the referee or anyone else, yes. I tried to separate it," said Bagus again.

After confirming the referee, Bagas and Bagas were not involved in beating and molesting the referee.

The referee who was the victim also said that Bagus and Bagas were seen separating in the chaotic crowd.

Meanwhile, this incident has reached the realm of law. The referee's lawyer who became the victim committed acts of beating the police.

The players and former professional players (League 1) who were reported to the police were Bayu Pradana (Barito Putera), Komarudin (Persikabo), Ilham Mahendra (Barito Putera), Hery Susanto, and Wahyu Wijiastanto.
