Indonesia Open 2024: Apri/Fadia Passes Dramatic Test
JAKARTA A dramatic start was faced by the women's doubles pair Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti in the first round of the Indonesia Open 2024.
The 2021 SEA Games gold medalist had to face the rubber game with a score of 21-17, 16-21, and 21-14 against Jongkolphan Kititharakul/Rawinda Prajongjai to get a ticket to the second round, Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
Apriyani said that they had missed the second game because they played impatient. This problem made them lose their game pattern.
"Then in the third game we changed the pattern of the game, calmer, and more focused. Their opponents must be patient. They are very tenuous," said Apri after the match.

The three wins that were won before the Indonesia Open 2024 were won in a row in three actual tournaments.
This means that the results in the first round of the Indonesia Open 2024 are the fourth consecutive victory obtained by Apri/Fadia over Jongkolphan/Rawinda.
In the second round, Apri / Fadia will meet the Malaysian pair Pearly Tan / Thinaah Muralitharan. This will be the sixth clash between the two pairs.
"We will learn their game. Mainly we have to prepare ourselves. Emotional, mind, and recover first. Tomorrow we will miss it first, we will prepare for training," said Apri.
Apri/Fadia are the fourth representatives of Indonesia to qualify for the second round of the Indonesia Open 2024 today. The previous three tickets were obtained by one women's singles and two mixed doubles.
