Puan Regarding The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election: It's Also Interesting, Mr. Anies
Chairman of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani assessed that Anies Baswedan would be an attractive figure if he returned to running as a candidate for the 2024 Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada).
"It's also interesting, Mr. Anies," said Puan when asked by reporters about the candidate who would be supported by the PDI-P, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 4.
Related to this, Puan said that the figure who will be supported by the PDI-P will be based on a realistic assessment. According to him, each region has different characters about electoral political opportunities.
Even so, he said the PDI-P was ready to cooperate with any party in the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada contestation. However, the cooperation, he said, would be carried out after his party saw the political mapping in the area.
"The PDI-P is ready to work with anyone, this is Mr. Lodewijk (Golkar), are we ready, sir, to work together?" he said.
