Russian Missile Attack On Ukraine's Dnipro Injures 7 People

JAKARTA - Russian missile attacks in downtown Dnipro injured seven people, including two children, and damaged civilian infrastructure on Tuesday, June 4, in the early hours of the morning, the local government said.

The Ukrainian air force said it shot down two Iskander-K cruise missiles in the region. The missile debris damaged civilian infrastructure, caused fires and injured residents, according to Serhiy Lysak, regional governor.

Two boys were among the injured, in addition to five adults, based on preliminary information from the governor, reported by Reuters.

"The attack damaged cars and broke windows of residential buildings and hospitals," Lysak wrote via the Telegram messaging app.

Russian troops also launched four drones in overnight attacks -- the Ukrainian air force said it shot down two of them in the northern region of Chernihiv.
