Jakarta's Hot Weather Becomes The Spotlight Of IFA Ahead Of The Indonesia Vs Iraq National Team

JAKARTA - Jakarta's heat tends to heat in the afternoon before the afternoon is in the spotlight of the Iraqi Football Federation (IFA). You see, this is related to the schedule of the Indonesian vs Iraq national team which will appear in the second round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian Zone.

The match was held on June 6, 2024, with the schedule of the starting soccer match at 16.00 WIB. This moment made IFA quite overwhelmed because the hot weather in Jakarta was considered quite worrying for the players.

This has even been felt by Iraqi players because they had undergone training in Jakarta on Monday, June 3, 2024, at night at Field A Senayan.

Despite being held at night, hot temperatures and humidity forced Iraqi players to continue to adapt.

"The Iraqi national team has trained in the midst of high humidity in Jakarta, which has reached 91 percent. It may be very difficult during the match because the humidity level increases over time. It may increase higher," wrote IFA quoted from the official Facebook page on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

"The Jakarta Atmosphere (during the training session) experienced widespread rain, some cloudy, and temperatures rose to 31 degrees Celsius," wrote IFA.

Jakarta's weather conditions during the Indonesia vs Iraq match are also predicted to be cloudy with temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius. This will clearly be a challenge for Iraqi players and become a gap for Garuda employees because they are used to facing the hot temperature of Jakarta.

Previously, it was known that the schedule for starting Indonesia vs Iraq would be held at 19.30 WIB. However, recently the chairman of the National Team Agency (BTN), Sumardji, has confirmed that the match was advanced to 16.00 WIB.

The moment will obviously benefit the adaptable hosts.
