Brawls Between Residents Break Up In Kampung Bahari Jakut, Police Are Still Conducting Investigations

JAKARTA - A brawl between residents broke out on the railroad line in the Kampung Bahari area, Tanjung Priuk, North Jakarta on Sunday, June 2, evening.

According to information gathered, several residents were injured and undergoing treatment at the nearest hospital due to the brawl.

The cause of the brawl between groups of residents is not yet known. However, North Jakarta Metro Police and Tanjung Priuk Police are checking on Sunday night.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanjung Priuk Police, Iptu Tomy Brian, confirmed the incident.

"Again on the road, members go to the hospital to check first. No (perpetrators) have been arrested yet," he said when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, June 2.

Until now, the Tanjung Priuk Police are still handling the brawl case. Police are still conducting an in-depth investigation.
