The Case For The Construction Of The Perindo Refrigeration Warehouse In Pati Goes To Investigation
JAKARTA - The Central Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has begun investigating the alleged corruption case in the construction of cold storage by Perum Perikanan Indonesia in Pati Regency.
Assistant Intelligence for the Central Java Attorney General's Office, Emilwan, confirmed that his party had raised the alleged corruption case in procurement and construction of cold storage to investigations. However, he said, no suspect has yet been determined in the investigation of this case.
He said that investigators would examine witnesses and gather evidence related to the case.
The refrigerated warehouse itself was built under the state budget in 2016-2017.
From a provisional calculation, according to him, the state loss that occurred was around Rp1 billion.
"The possibility is still subject to change, depending on the results of the investigation," he said.
