A Teenager Was Beaten To Death In Batu Because Of His Duties
BATU - An act of beating a number of children was carried out against the victim with the initials RK who was still a teenager. The victim, who was only 12 years old, was reported to have died in the Batu City area, East Java.
Batu Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Oskar Syamsuddin at a press conference at the Batu Police Headquarters, East Java, Saturday, said that one of the perpetrators of the beating or child in conflict with the law with the initials MA (13) felt offended by the victim because he was asked to print school assignments at night.
"The suspect's motive for a child in conflict with the law with the initials MA was offended because the victim was asked to print a task at night," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 31.
Oskar explained that as a result of being offended by the victim's request, the Supreme Court invited a number of other children to abuse the victim.
According to the Police Chief, the persecution of RK victims was carried out by the Supreme Court along with four other children with the initials AS (13), MI (15), KA (13), and KB (13). The children are schoolmates and friends play victims.
"On Wednesday (29/5), the victim was picked up by the train and then invited to the MA's house," he said.
After that, KA and MA took the victim to Cempaka Street, Pesanggrahan Village, Batu District. At that location, a number of children were waiting and there was a beating at around 13.30 WIB.
"The acts of violence or abuse were carried out by hitting the victim in turn," he said.
After committing violence against victims, KA and AS took the victim home. However, the victim was only escorted by the two children to a public gas station (SPBU) on Jalan Lahor, Batu City.
Then, on Friday (31/5), the victim RK complained of pain in the back of the head and nausea to his parents. At 07.00 WIB, the victim's parents took RK to Hasta Brata Hospital, Batu City and RK was declared dead at 10.00 WIB.

Based on the results of the post-mortem on the victim, the Police Chief continued, the victim RK died due to a crack in the left side of the head. The victim suffered bleeding and blood clots in the brain.
"Based on the results of the post-mortem, the victim died from a crack in the left side of the head, resulting in bleeding and blood clots in the brain," he said.
Five children who are in conflict with the law are charged with Article 80 paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 76 letter C, Law Number 17/2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016, concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a maximum penalty of 15 years.
