Medco Energi Distributes Dividends Of 70 Million US Dollars

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MedcoEnergi) decided to distribute dividends of US$70.04 million.

The total dividend includes an interim dividend of US$25 million or Rp15 per share that has been distributed to shareholders on December 15, 2023 and the remaining final dividend of US$45,04 million or US$0.0018 per share which will be distributed in the Rupiah currency in accordance with the current exchange rate on June 28, 2024.

Hilmi Panigoro, President Director of MedcoEnergi said, in 2023 MedcoEnergi managed to achieve all oil and gas production targets, electricity sales, production costs, capital use and debt reduction.

"The trust and support of sustainable shareholders is the key for the Company in expanding its horizon and reaching a successful year," he said, quoted on Saturday, June 1.

In addition, Shareholders also approved Annual Reports and Financial Reports audited for the 2023 financial year, the remuneration of the Board of Commissioners and Directors, as well as the appointment of financial auditors for the 2024 financial year.
