Ridwan Kamil: Anies Has Nothing To Do With Golkar's Assignment In The Jakarta Regional Head Election

DENPASAR - Golkar Politician Ridwan Kamil emphasized that Anies Baswedan has no relationship with the absence of a party assignment to him to run in the DKI Jakarta Pilkada

"There is no relationship with Mas Anies. My life, yes, how about me. It is not determined whether other people advance or not," said Ridwan Kamil in Ngurah Rai, Badung, Bali, Friday, May 31.

Ridwan Kamil admitted that he was friends with the former Governor of DKI Jakarta. In fact, Ridwan Kamil prays that he will always be given the best in his life.

"I wish him the best, yes, whatever his destiny," he said.

He is optimistic about the survey results which state that the former Governor of West Java has good electability.

Previously, Anies Baswedan stated that he would seriously consider running again in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada or not.

This was conveyed by Anies after being pressured by residents while attending a gathering and halalbihalal with street vendors and residents of the Urban Poor People's Network Village in Marlina Village, Sunday.

During the event, representatives from the City Poor People's Network, Sugiarti, conveyed a statement of attitude for Anies to run again in the Jakarta Pilkada.

"We are fully ready to support it to win," said Sugiarti as quoted by ANTARA.

It was Anies' turn to deliver his remarks. Anies then responded to the push to move forward again in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

He admitted that he had received offers from a number of political parties to run in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. He is currently considering this.

"Well, so our statement of support was conveyed. I talked to you, I did get an invitation from political parties, offered, asked to be nominated as governor. Currently I am considering whether to return or not," said Anies.

"Back!" shouted the residents.

"We are considering, yes. Seriously minor, come back or not, yes. Back or not? Back to Jakarta?" Anies asked.
