Bugatti Chiron L'Ultime: Luxury Farewell To Hypercar Legend
JAKARTA - The era of Bugatti Chiron officially ended, marked by the birth of one last masterpiece unit, Chiron Super Sport L'Ultime. This car is not only a farewell, but also a celebration of Chiron's extraordinary eight-year achievement.
L'Ultime, which is now being assembled by expert craftsmen at Molsheim, appears as a tribute to Chiron's journey which immediately becomes an unrivaled icon of hypersport car performance. Production was limited from the start to only 500 units.
It is known, since its release in 2016 Chiron was the first highway car to break a record 1,500 PS and penetrate a speed of 300 mph (483 km/hour).
Not only marking the end of Chiron's journey, L'Ultime is also the end of the history of the legendary W16 16-cylinder Bugatti engine. Instead, Chiron's successor will be equipped with a 1000 dk hybrid V16 engine.
"Merek Bugatti is not only built on performance, but also absolute expertise, sophistication, and misery, which is the highest peak in the automotive world," said President Bugatti Automobiles Christophe Piochon, in the manufacturer's media space, quoted May 31.
"This very special Super Sport - the last masterpiece in the Chiron family that defines the era - embodies these values, linking unrivaled core attributes with ease and full of purpose," he added.

For L'Ultime, the Bugatti Sur Mesure team re-juvenated the design. The color combination is stunning with fine gradation, symbolizing the evolution of Bugatti's expertise for eight years. Apart from aesthetics, L'Ultime is also thick with elements of Chiron's history. The side of the body shows important moments, such as launches in Geneva, testing on the Paul Ricard circuit, to achieving 300 mph on the Ehra-Lessien track.
