Chelsea Supports Enzo Maresca Transfer Manuver Who Spent Hundreds Of Million Pounds
JAKARTA - Chelsea will support Enzo Maresca's transfer maneuver before jumping into various 2024/2025 season events.
The newly signed Italian manager replacing Mauricio Pochettino has targeted four new players, including a star for 113 million pounds.
However, Chelsea must sell four players who graduated from the academy before the June 30, 2024 deadline to balance finances.
Maresca's priority is to strengthen the front lines and defense posts. The position of goalkeeper will also be overhauled.
He wanted the goalkeeper who was proficient in playing the ball on the defensive line. Maresca assessed that Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez did not have these attributes.

James Trafford is targeted under Chelsea's bar following Burnley's relegation from the Premier League.
Chelsea also want to add a new centre-back, left-back, and striker this summer.
There is a long-standing interest in Napoli star, Victor Osimhen, who has a release clause of 113 million pounds.
Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli this summer. However, moving to Chelsea is not considered a priority.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are predicted to be Osimhen's destination options.
Another name on the Maresca wanted list surfaced. There is defender Tosin Adarbioyo on a free transfer status after his contract at Fulham expires.
The problem is, this 26-year-old player also attracted the interest of Newcastle and Tottenham. However, Adarbioyo has high wages and additional agent fees.
The rest, Maresca has not disclosed who the attacker will be.
However, before the Blues get the list of players they want, the funds must be collected by selling some local stars.
Conor Gallagher has attracted Aston Villa and Tottenham's interest despite choosing to stay at Stamford Bridge.
Armando Broja, Ian Maatsen, and Trevoh Chalobah are likely to be sold.
Broja is in demand by a number of Premier League clubs and several top European leagues. However, all these interested clubs are still waiting for the price tag set by Chelsea for the Albania international.
Then, Chalobah was also the target of the Premier League club, but there was a problem with his salary demands.
Another name that can bring in fresh money is defender Levi Colwill. The graduate of the Chelsea academy is in demand by Liverpool. However, the Blues still insist on not selling it.
The decision is actually still tentative. Chelsea could have been forced to release the England national team player if the other academy players could not be sold.
Again, all of that is to bring in fresh funds so that they can perform better transfer maneuvers on the stock exchange.
