PDIP Can't Believe The Supreme Court's Decision To Make It Easy For Kaesang In The 2024 Pilkada

JAKARTA - Secretary of the PDIP Regional Election Winning Team, Aria Bima, spoke about the decision of the Supreme Court (MA) which granted the Garuda Party's lawsuit regarding the age requirements for regional head candidates to be at least 30 years from the time of inauguration.

Aria Bima said that his party did not prejudice that the Supreme Court's decision was to pass PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep to run for the 2024 Pilkada.

"I'm not too sure that it will only be focused or the desire is only from the Supreme Court to pass Kaesang. Don't make it up first," Bima said Thursday, May 31.

PDIP, said Aria Bima, still wants to know more about the arguments in the decision. From there, he said, his party would judge whether the decision was politically full or not.

"I am responding to the Supreme Court's decision, I want to know the argument, but it is as input, input related to the discussion of the Pilkada Law and the presidential election that we want in one unit, our understanding which is a political matter," said Aria Bima.

Even so, Aria Bima also emphasized that PDIP is ready to take part in any regional elections.

"Whatever rule, yes, whatever rule we are ready to follow the election," concluded Aria Bima.
