Rian, A Female Killer Whose Body Was Put In A Plastic Bag, Was Psychologically Examined

JAKARTA - The police said that the serial killer in Bogor, MRI alias Rian (21), was desperate to carry out his actions because he wanted to control the property of his victim. But the police will explore other suspected motives by examining his psyche.

"Meanwhile (controlling the victim's property), another motive will be psychological examination," said Bogor Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to VOI, Friday, March 12.

The motive for this murder, said Susatyo, was discovered after investigators found several items belonging to the two victims, namely the DP and EL. The victim's belongings included a necklace and cellphone.

"From the examination so far it is like that (motive). But once again we are exploring other motives," he said.

Susatyo said that the revelation of the serial murder case began with the discovery of the body of a woman with the initials DP (17) on the edge of Jalan Raya Cilebut, Bogor City on February 25. The woman's body was found in a pathetic condition because it was put in a plastic bag.

Two weeks later, on March 10, the police again found the body of a woman with the initials EL (23) lying on the roadside of Pasir Angin Village, Megamendung, Bogor Regency.

In the investigation process a similar mode was discovered. The perpetrator killed the victim by strangling.

"From the investigation, we finally caught MRI in the Depok area, West Java. The results of the investigation were proven that he was the one who killed the two women," he said.

The suspect charged with Article 76 C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph 1 and 3 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection and / or Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code, is more subsidiary to Article 365 paragraph 3 with the threat of the death penalty.
