KPK Asks Pansel Capim And Councils To Be Proactive In Listening To The Community
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the Selection Committee (Pansel) for Candidates for Leaders and the KPK Supervisory Board to work optimally. They are asked to absorb the aspirations of the community.
"Pansel can also proactively absorb various suggestions, inputs, and aspirations of the community as parties who will benefit from eradicating corruption," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, May 30.
Ali said his agency believes that the selection committee that has been appointed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) must know the problem of eradicating corruption at this time. "Including the need for strengthening regulations or institutions," he said.
Thus, the Pansel is expected to work optimally and release other interests that are not related to eradicating corruption.
"Thus, the Pansel will produce candidates for the leadership and the KPK Council who have a high track record and commitment to eradicating corruption, integrity, free from conflicts of interest and professionalism in carrying out their duties," said Ali.
As previously reported, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has signed the Presidential Decree (Keppres) of the Capim Pansel and the KPK Supervisory Board. Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Muhammad Yusuf Ateh was appointed as chairman.
